Edgewood, MD – Smiths Detection Inc., (SDI) a threat detection technology leader, announced today that it has entered into an agreement with Aerotech do Brasil Soluções em Tecnologia Ltda, a subsidiary of Grupo Aerotech,to appoint them as their exclusive distributor to market, sell and maintain their products and services in Brazil.
Grupo Aerotech is a specialist who already services a broad range of Smiths’ customer needs in the region. SDI has a long standing relationship with Aerotech and partners with them in markets such as Chile and Peru. Adding the locally-managed Brazil market to Aerotech’s portfolio extends Smiths Detection’s ability to respond to customer needs faster, and to adapt to market trends more competitively than local suppliers.
