Roka Bioscience, Inc. Announces Distribution Partnership with FoodChek Systems Inc.
WARREN, N.J., May 8, 2017 /PRNewswire/ — Roka Bioscience, Inc. (“Roka”) (NASDAQ: ROKA), a molecular diagnostics company focused on providing advanced testing solutions for the detection of foodborne pathogens, announced today that it has entered into an 5-year non-exclusive distribution agreement with FoodChek Systems Inc. to distribute their lines of both proprietary Actero™ ELITE Enrichment Media and non-proprietary Actero™ UNIVERSAL Enrichment Media.
The agreement allows Roka Bioscience to expand its product menu aimed at food safety labs to include both technically advanced enrichment and detection solutions. “By pairing the innovative enrichment media products in FoodChek’s Actero™ Media line with the advanced detection capabilities of the Atlas® system, we can further our goal to deliver industry leading accuracy and faster time-to-result for pathogen testing in the food industry,” said Mary Duseau, President and CEO of Roka.
