Joseph Plante Named Division Vice President/Business Unit Manager at AMETEK Brookfield
MIDDLEBORO, MA – AMETEK Brookfield, a global leader in lab and process viscometers, is pleased to announce the appointment of Joseph Plante as Division Vice President/Business Unit Manager. In his new role, Mr. Plante has responsibility for managing day-to-day operations, while promoting continued growth, customer satisfaction and innovation at AMETEK Brookfield.
Mr. Plante’s career spans more than 27 years. He has held progressively responsible roles, beginning in engineering and program management and advancing to positions in management and leadership. Most recently, he was President of Diba Industries, a subsidiary of Halma, plc, in Danbury, CT. Prior to that, he was President of Needletech Products and Galt Medical, divisions of Theragenics Corporation, a global medical device manufacturer.
Mr. Plante holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from UMass Amherst, a Master of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, and a Master of Business Administration degree from Babson College.
